Since its founding in 2022, Bass Embassy has provided a platform for emerging DJs, supporting over 40 up-and-coming and local artists. In April 2024, Bass Embassy introduced Open Decks—a new initiative designed to give fresh talent a stage. Recently, Bass Embassy began collaborating with Platform Popcultuur Fryslân to host the ZolderkamerPioniers Showcase, further expanding opportunities for local DJs and producers to perform and connect with new audiences.
Friesland is home to many talented producers who often go unheard and unseen. ZolderkamerPioniers, an initiative by Platform Popcultuur Fryslân, is committed to changing that. Through this program, six DJs and producers have had the chance to develop both in the studio and on stage. Each artist performed an online set and produced a track that has been released as part of a collaborative vinyl project.
On December 21st, Bass Embassy and Platform Popcultuur Fryslân join forces to bring you the ZolderkamerPioniers Showcase. To mark the conclusion of this project, the six artists will take the stage at Bass Embassy x ZolderkamerPioniers to showcase their talents live, each representing their unique style and genre.

Bass Embassy is an open-minded collective of creators that was found to improve the DNB scene in the North of the Netherlands.
After multiple sold-out editions featuring artists such as TANTRON, FORMULA, ATMOS, TRINIST, TREMMOR, RICKY WEST, ZUSHI&VANKO, [BORDERS], SANO, CARRIER, TER3NCE and many more, Bass Embassy has grown into a platform where upcoming and local artists can showcase their talent.
