TANTRON’s entire life has been about music. Growing up in the Netherlands, Hugo
used to play the drums and listen to a lot of classical and electronic music. Around
the age of 12 he traded the drumsticks for a laptop and a pair of studio monitors. He
experimented with a lot of EDM-genres, but it was the high energy and the creative
freedom of creating Drum ‘n Bass that really got him hooked to it in 2020 – just when
the pandemic hit. During all the free time in the studio, he created his own, powerful
sound: Hyperactive Bass Music.

After a successful debut-year performing as TANTRON in 2022 with over 30
professional shows at places like Bootshaus, WTF, Solar Weekend Festival and
FIBER, Hugo is now more exhilarated than ever to go full-power in 2023. With songs
like QUICKSAND [VISION], HYPER [Worstville], zeemeeuw [gladde paling] and more
on the way, this explosive ‘human wrecking ball’ proves time and again that his music
has no boundaries. This, together with his infectious high energy behind the decks,
makes him a unique act, ready to share his roaring presence on every stage.
